Pricing model

Only pay for who works.

Most field compliance tools charge for every name on the account, whether that person touches it or not. Quickler charges only for active users, so you add your whole team and pay for who actually worked that month.

The problem

Per-seat pricing punishes growth

Per-seat models suit the vendor: every name on the account is a licence charge, whether that person produced anything or not. For a small firm the maths runs the other way. If each extra person on the roster adds another charge, the firm either holds rollout back or pays for staff who barely touch the tool.

How it costs

£20 per active user

  1. 1

    Active users only

£20 per active user per month. An active user is someone who produced at least one report that month. The first active user is always charged, so the minimum is £20 a month.

  2. 2

    Dormant users free

Add every engineer, manager and admin. Anyone who did not produce a report that month costs nothing. Everything else is unlimited: reports, photos, messages and workflows.

Honest fit

Where Quickler is not the pick

Need scheduling, dispatching, quoting, invoicing and asset tracking in one platform? That is a full field service suite, not Quickler. Quickler is for firms whose problem is specifically the compliance-paperwork half.

Why per-seat pricing is a bad fit for small field firms

Most of the established tools in this space charge per seat. That model makes sense for the vendor: every name on the account is incremental licence cost, regardless of how much value the firm extracts.

From the small-firm side, the maths is the other way round. If each additional person on the roster adds another per-seat charge, the small firm either holds rollout back (defeating the point) or pays for people who barely touch the tool.

How Quickler is priced

£20 per active user per month. An active user is someone who produced at least one report that month. Dormant users are free, so adding staff who do not work a given month costs nothing. The first active user is always charged, so the minimum is £20 a month.

£20 per active user per month with a £20 monthly minimum, plus a free tier of 20 reports a month, extra dormant users always free. Everything is unlimited on a paid account: reports, photos, messages and workflows.

There is no time-limited trial. The free tier is how you try Quickler: 20 reports a month, up to 10 photos per report, unlimited users, free forever. Sign up with no card and only add a Direct Debit when you upgrade. Billed monthly in arrears by UK Direct Debit, with other payment rails added as firms in new markets come on board. No setup fee. Quickler runs on any inspection or checklist, not just one trade, and works in any country WhatsApp does.

What that looks like in practice

A firm with twenty engineers where only six worked this month pays for six active users, not twenty. The fourteen who did not produce a report cost nothing.

A seasonal firm quiet over winter pays the £20 monthly minimum to keep the account live, and above that only for the active users in the months they are active.

We deliberately avoid quoting other vendors' specific prices here because their tiers and discounts change. Check their own pages for current numbers.

Where Quickler is not the right pick

If you need a full field service management platform, scheduling, dispatching, quoting, invoicing, asset tracking, Quickler is not the right tool. A full field service suite is the right pick when you want one platform to run the whole business. Quickler is for firms whose problem is specifically the compliance-paperwork half.

Frequently asked questions

What if I add more staff?

Adding staff is free. You are charged only for active users, people who produced at least one report that month. Someone who did not work that month costs nothing, however many names are on the account. Everything is unlimited on a paid account: reports, photos, messages and workflows.

Is there a setup fee?

No setup fee. For bespoke onboarding (custom workflow templates beyond the standard EICR, CP12, van check and structural set), one-off setup is quoted per project.

Is there a free trial?

There is no time-limited trial. Instead there is a free tier: 20 reports a month, up to 10 photos per report, unlimited users, free forever, with no card required. Sign up at app.quickler.co/signup and a real engineer can run a real check with a real report out the other end. You upgrade to a paid account when you outgrow the free reports.

What if we only need it for three months of the year?

You only pay for active users in the months they actually work, above a £20 monthly minimum that keeps your account live. There is always one active user charged, so a paid month never costs less than £20 whether or not anyone files a report. You can cancel at any time, and data export on cancellation is supported on request.

Do you charge per seat if we prefer it?

No. Per active user is the deliberate model: dormant staff are free, which removes the disincentive to roll the tool out across the whole team. If you specifically want a per-seat platform, iAuditor or SimPro are the right picks; the comparison page explains where each fits.
